About Prairie House Quilting

I started quilting in 1999 after taking a beginner quilt class. One class turned into another as I learned this wonderful craft. In 2003 my husband and I moved from Texas to Iowa. We found a cute little house that sits at the edge of the prairie. I decided to start a quilting business out of my home. Prairie House Quilting was born.

As soon as I purchased my hand guided APQS Millennium longarm I started training classes. Over the years I have learned from many award winning  instructors, such as Sally Terry, Marilyn Badger, Dawn Cavanaugh, Pam Clark, and Karen McTavish to name a few. I will continue to educate myself in my profession.

We have recently moved from our cute little house by the Iowa prairie to a new home in a new state. I have taken my business with me, so now Prairie House Quilting is located in Kansas City, Missouri.

I am a member of International Machine Quilters Association , I thoroughly enjoy quilting for my customers. They have so much talent that it is a pleasure to work on their future heirlooms. I look forward to working on your quilts too.
